William Stanley Granville Tackaberry (Bill)

William Stanley Granville Tackaberry, known to his family and friends as Bill, passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on November 11, 1948, in Montreal, Quebec, Bill was the beloved son of the late William John Tackaberry and Elizabeth Ann Tackaberry (nee Turfrey). He is survived by his wife Karen Richards; his sister Noreen Conlan; his children Bill (MaiLi), Shelley (Loren), Beth, Natalie (George), Karen (Justin), Kyle; his stepson Lemerick; and his cherished grandchildren Hayley (Dylan), Jaden, Riley, Sage, Jack, Maddy, Cameron, William, Ophelia, Liam, and Edwin. Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed a long and accomplished career, graduating from Sir George Williams University (Concordia) in 1969, and later becoming a licensed paralegal. Bill will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the many lives he touched through his tireless advocacy for the little guy.
