William John Cote (Jack)

William John Cote, known to many as Jack, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026, at St. Joseph's Hospital at the age of 84. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sharon Cote. Jack leaves behind his two daughters, Jeannine Cote and Jannelle Pietila, and his grandsons, Jonah, Lucas, Matthew Pietila, and Kaleb Cote. He is also reunited with his parents, William and Emily Cote. Jack was a retired steelworker from Stelco's Canada Works. He is survived by his son-in-law, David Pietila, and extended family. The family would like to express their gratitude for the care Jack received at St. Joseph's Hospital. In accordance with Jack's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Donations in Jack's memory to Living Rock Ministries would be greatly appreciated.
