Stephen James BALLANTYNE

Stephen James Ballantyne passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton on June 8, 2026, at the age of 70, after a courageous battle with cancer and complications from treatment. Born on February 7, 1956, in St. Catharines, Steve worked at General Motors for 33 years before retiring in 2009. He is survived by his wife Christel, whom he married on March 4, 1978, and their children Patricia Lynn and Jeffery James. Steve will be remembered for his quiet faith, patience, kindness, and dedication to his family and friends.
