Siegfried Hirschegger

Siegfried Hirschegger passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 97, in Hamilton, Ontario, with his children by his side. Born in Zeltweg, Austria, he was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude, of 71 years, daughters Christa and Siegrid, grandson Jason, and sister Lore and her husband Eric. He is survived by his children, Ilse (Mike), Joe (Wendy), and Rick (Diana); grandchildren Stacey, Julie (Scott), Jennifer, Mike (Tara), Lucas, Zachary, Rebecca, and Eric; great-grandchildren Megan (Brian), Calvin, Sam, Sophia, Katie, and Kaiden; great-great-grandchildren Josie and Thomas; niece Debbie (Joe) and her family; and his sister Gudrun (Berndt) and her family in Austria. A gathering will be held in the coming months in Killarney, where Siegfried and his wife spent many happy times at their trailer and on their boat.
