Ruth Hannay of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on February 15, 1933, Ruth was a cherished member of her family and community, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – Hamilton Chapel, located at 947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Ryerson United Church, 265 Wilson St E, Ancaster, ON L9G2B8, followed by a reception at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Covenant House Toronto would be greatly appreciated by the family.
