Rosina (nee Filice) Mazzuca passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in her 101st year. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugenio (1972). Loving mother of Agata (late Gaetano) Micieli, Rita Mazzuca (Antonio Spadafora), Mario (Maria) Mazzuca, and Frank (Debbie) Mazzuca. Adored nonna of Guglielmo (Maria), Maria Luisa, Rosanna (Mike), Masimmo, Rosella (Fabio), Francesca, Eugene (Traci), Michael (Lavinia), Daniel (Stacie), Chris (Joe), Andrew, and Sarah (Jeff). Proud big nonna of 15 great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Serafina and Francesco, late Ignazio and Ida, Natale (late Antionetta), and Marietta (late Francesco). Sister-in-law of the late Raffaele and Chiara, Elvira (late Giovanni), late Marietta and Francesco, Sante (late Ida), Antonio and Giuseppina, Rosina (late Antonio), late Pileria and Giovanni. Loved by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. The family would like to extend their sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all the nurses and PSWs for all their exceptional compassion, kindness, and care they provided to their beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 3 p.m.- 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Catherine of Siena Parish on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, in Burlington. In kindness, donations to Bob Kemp Hospice and Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
