Rosa Cantagalli

Rosa Cantagalli of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 90. She was born on June 21, 1936. Rosa is predeceased by her husband Vittorio and her parents, Gaspare and Orlandina Radicofani. She is survived by her children Anna, Rino, Marco (married to Rosetta) and Sandra (married to David); her stepfather Vincenzo Mancini; her stepsister Josepina Melatti; her siblings‑in‑law Delfina Gnagnarella (married to Armando), Mario Cantagalli (married to Fiorina), Romano Cantagalli and Gildo Cantagalli (married to Maria); her nieces and nephews Felice Gnagnarella, Mirella Gnagnarella, Roberto Gnagnarella (married to Titti), Anna Cantagalli (married to Luigi), Peppino Cantagalli (married to Concetta), Mauro Cantagalli (married to Daniela), Fabrizio Cantagalli (married to Dina), Lanfranco Cantagalli, Josie, Tina and Franco Melatti; her sibling‑in‑law Antonieta Cantagalli; and many great‑nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – Hamilton Chapel, 947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W 3M2. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Regina Mundi Catholic Church, 631 Mohawk Rd W, Hamilton, ON L9C 1X7, followed by an entombment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 254 Garner Rd W, Ancaster, ON L9G 3K9, at 11:30 a.m. In kindness, donations to Margaret’s Place Hospice are appreciated.
