Norma Mae MOONEY

Norma Mae Mooney, a lifelong resident of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, at the age of 93, at The Wellington nursing home. Born on May 22, 1933, she was the only child of Robert and Jessie Rafter. Norma was predeceased by her husbands Keith Harvey and James Mooney, and her longtime companion Richard Flock. She will be sadly missed by her children Debbie, Bob, Ed, and Norma-Ann, and by her grandchildren Tasha, Caitlin, Eddie, Zoey, Maddie, Jamie, and Nicole. Norma retired from the Admissions Office of Mohawk College and was active in the union. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at The Wellington for their excellent care of Norma over the past 1.5 years. Per her wishes, there will be no visitation, and cremation will be followed by interment at a future date at White Chapel Cemetery.
