Nicolina Melo

Nicolina Melo (née Ribeiro) passed away peacefully at Idlewyld Manor on March 16, 2026, at the age of 80, just days after celebrating her milestone birthday on March 5th. She was the beloved wife of Antonio for 60 wonderful years. Nicolina was a devoted and loving mother to Ana and Antonio Melo, Virgino and Concepcion Melo, Lucrecia Melo, Lina Barker, Ivonia and Fernando Oliveira and Alvaro Melo. She was an adoring Vavó to 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Nicolina will be sadly missed by her brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Idlewyld Manor for their compassionate care. Resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, a Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary's Church on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
