Mrs. Mary Louise Baker (neé Allaster)

Mary Louise Baker (née Allaster) passed away on May 1, 2026, in her 100th year. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gordon (2013). Mary Louise is survived by her four children: Ruth Ann (Michael), Sara (Will), Liz (Keith), and Chris, as well as 10 grandchildren: Rachel and Fiona (Ozan), Evan (Elisa), Joe (Paula) and Lochlan, Chloe (Steve), Philip (Siean), Emma (Jason) and Luc (Sabrina) and Ryan, and six great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her devoted nieces, Susan Bloomfield and Janet Murphy. The family is grateful for the care Mary Louise received from the staff of Deerview Crossing and St. Peter's Hospice in Hamilton. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 5, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, 320 Charlton Avenue West, Hamilton, Ontario. Memorial donations may be made to the Bruce Trail Association or to support music education and performance.
