Me William Hunter Smith (Billy)

William Hunter Smith, also known as Billy, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Idlewyld Manor at the age of 88. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jean Bell Smith, and their children, Carolyn and her husband Carlos, and Lorraine and her wife Natalie; his grandchildren, Alia and Caleb; and his grand-dog, Charlie. He was predeceased by no one mentioned in the text. Billy will be missed by his loving family in Scotland. He worked as a machinist for over 30 years at WABCO and was a fierce union advocate for member rights. The family is thankful for the exceptional care Billy received at Idlewyld Manor from Dr. Chan, Nicole, and all the staff. A special thanks to Ron Jennings for being a wonderful friend.
