Matthew Muzak

Matthew Muzak passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, in his 90th year, at the age of 89. He is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Sharon; son, Tim; daughters, Jan and her husband Sheldon, and Lori and her husband George; and his cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Nick, whose wife Shirley predeceased him, and Bill and his wife Shirley. He is predeceased by his siblings, Mary and her husband Barry, Eddie and his wife Joyce, and Joe, as well as his parents, Anna and Martin. He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and their children, and his friends of more than 60 years, Brian and Heather Penman, and Barry and Joyce Colyer. Matthew had many interests and was a lifelong aviation enthusiast. He was a proud employee of Stelco Met Department for 35 years before enjoying more than 25 years of retirement. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum would be greatly appreciated. At his request, there will be no service, and a private family interment has taken place.
