Maria de Lurdes REALEJO
Maria de Lurdes Realejo passed away on April 3, 2026, at the age of 70, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife and best friend of John for 53 years. Maria was the loving mother of Katherine and Linda (Brad), and a proud and loving Avo of Grant, Lucas, and Sabrina. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Fatima, sisters-in-law Juliana (predeceased by Joe), Lucia (Tony), brothers-in-law Joe (Rosemary), Carlos (Maria), and Joe Toste, godchildren Victor (Julie) and Fatima (Steve), and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends from Portugal, the United States, and Canada. Maria was predeceased by her parents Antero and Maria Andrade and nephew Gary Realejo (2025). Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton, on Tuesday, April 14th, from 5 - 8 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate her life will take place in the Cresmount Chapel on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, 254 Garner Road West, Ancaster. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
