Margaret Elizabeth Cairns of Hamilton, Ontario, died on August 20, 2026, at the age of 94. She was born on December 27, 1931. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Cairns. She is survived by her children Jim (married to Judy), Linda (married to Joe), Dave (married to Bonnie) and Mike (married to Loretta); her grandchildren Matthew (married to Jill), Megan (married to Timothy), Bryan, Michael (married to Erin), Evan (married to Mady), Melissa (married to Garrison), Rachael (married to Stuart), Samantha and Katey; and her great‑grandchildren James, Jack, William, Sydney, Silas, Ella, Savannah, Austin, Whitney, Sebastian, Owen and Sophie. The family requests that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation in her memory, and they invite expressions of sympathy in the online guestbook.
