Leon Sylvester WARNER

Leon Warner passed away on April 12, 2026. He was the husband of the late Iva Lauretta Warner, son of the late James and Olivia Warner, and father of Annette Weekes, Fiona Devonish, Allan Warner, and the late Ian Warner. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Marie and Michael Warner, Philip and Alana Weekes, Micaela and Mitchell Devonish, and his sister, Joan Warner. Leon was predeceased by his wife Iva, as well as Iva Parris, Inell Burke, Alma Gittens, Mary Griffith, Grafton, Eris, Elise, Hart, Cameron, and Mitchell Warner. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, the Rev. Leon Burke, and many nieces, nephews, and relatives of the Warner, Jones, and Burnett families. The family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors and staff at The Village of Wentworth Heights for their care of Leon over the past 5 years. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 5 - 8 p.m. at Cresmount Funeral Home, and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at St. Michael's Anglican Church. Memorial donations may be made to St. Michael's Anglican Church.
