Josip Marsic

Josip Marsic was born on October 9, 1939, and died on August 21, 2026, at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife Anna; his children Graciela and Danny, the latter married to Paula; and his siblings Viktoria (married to Alexandar), Zorka (married to Vid) and Janko (married to Barbara), as well as nieces, nephews, kumovi and other extended relatives. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Markey‑Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton, Ontario. The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the same location, followed by entombment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Road, Burlington, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Lung Association.
