Joseph Fodor

Joseph Fodor passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026, at the age of 96, surrounded by his family at Macassa Lodge. He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (née Balogh). Joseph was the loving father of Joseph, Stephen, and Elizabeth Paul (Mark), and the cherished grandfather of Aaron, Colin (Elizabeth), Lindsay (Troy), Jacob (Krystal), Kelly (Wayne), and Danny, and proud great-grandfather of Tyler and Arwen. He is also survived by his sisters, Rose and Anna, as well as many nieces and nephews in Hungary. Joseph was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held at 7:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stephen of Hungary Church on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph's memory may be made to St. Stephen of Hungary Church or to St. Stephen's Hungarian Scout Association.
