James "Jim" STEWART

James 'Jim' Stewart passed away suddenly on July 27, 2026, at the age of 75. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Una. Jim is survived by his wife of 47 years, Penny, and their sons, William and Jeffrey. He is also survived by his sister, Beth, and her husband Rob, his brothers, Charly and his wife Debbie, and David and his wife Elba, as well as his nieces, Elizabeth and her husband Alex, and Lee-Ann. Jim was an avid woodworker and enjoyed gardening and making jams. He was a kind and helpful person who loved paddling a canoe on calm lakes. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre on August 7, 2026, followed by interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Friends of Algonquin Park, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of choice.
