James Christopher Nicol

The family of James Christopher Nicol announces his passing on September 26, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on December 24, 1955, James was a beloved husband to Frankie McGraw-Nicol and a devoted father to his children, Jennifer, Maureen, Mike, Kevin, and Molly. He cherished his grandchildren, Zac and Ellie, and is also survived by his siblings, Chisholm, Barb, Andrina, Stephen, Mike, and Karin, along with his close friend Daisy. James was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Jean Nicol, and his mother-in-law, Betty McGraw. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, with a celebration of life on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Hospital Firestone Clinic and Good Shepherd Centres.
