Irene Mary "Penny" DAWSON

Irene Mary 'Penny' Dawson passed peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on April 10, 2026, at the age of 102, with her longtime dear friend Kathy Alderson at her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert (Jerry) Dawson, in 2012, after 64 years of marriage. Penny is survived by friends in Canada and family in England. Her final years were spent at Meadowlands Retirement Community, where the staff became her extended family. At Penny's request, there will be no service. Cremation has already taken place.
