Filippo Biondi

Filippo Biondi passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the age of 96. He was born in San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy. Filippo was the beloved husband of the late Evelina, with whom he shared 61 years together. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Sandro and his wife Irene, and Enrica and her husband Orlando. Filippo was a devoted Nonno to Serena and her husband Andre, Philip and his wife Caroline, Alexander and his wife Raquel, Michael and his wife Kristen, Madeleine and her husband David, and Luca. He was also a proud Bisnonno to Sophie, Roman, Lia, Vienna, and two more grandchildren on the way. Filippo is predeceased by his parents, Alessandro and Enrica Biondi, and his father and mother-in-law, Pasquale and Ada Azulmi. He is also predeceased by his brother, Giuseppe, and his brother-in-law, Giuliana's late husband, Giuseppe, Agostino, and his sister-in-law, Derna. Filippo will be remembered by his surviving siblings, Romeo and his wife Giuseppina, and Giovanna and her husband Luigi. A visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 27th from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 28th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, followed by entombment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Burlington.
