Dina Gountzounis-Stathakos

Dina Gountzounis-Stathakos, born on March 21, 1972, passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 54. She is survived by her husband Nick, her mother Donna Gountzounis, her sister Maria, and her beloved pet Milos. Dina was predeceased by her father Paul. Her life was filled with connections and experiences that left a lasting impression on those who knew her. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – Hamilton Chapel. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, followed by burial at Woodland Cemetery. A reception will be held at the funeral home after the burial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
