David Anthony Zizzo

David Anthony Zizzo, born on April 6, 1947, in Hamilton, Ontario, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, at the age of 79, surrounded by love and family. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Francine Lacasse-Zizzo, his daughters, Geneviève (Simon Borys) and Natalie (Andrew Lingard). He was a cherished grandfather to Wallace, to whom he was delighted to be Papa. He will be deeply missed by his siblings Carolyn (Michael) Cornale, Charles (Clara), and Richard (Karen) as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his dear brother, Angelo and his wife Judy, and his beloved parents, Angelo and Angela (née Scime). A Funeral Mass will be held at St Ann's Parish, 11 Wilson St W in Ancaster on June 6 at 11 a.m. A celebration of life will follow from 1-4 p.m. at Marquis Gardens, 1365 Sandhill Dr, Ancaster. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honour to Good Shepherd or Operation Smile Canada.
