Damiano Alongi

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Damiano Alongi of Hamilton, Ontario, who departed this life on October 5, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on September 8, 1936, Damiano was predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Angela, as well as his siblings, Teresa and Salvatore. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lina, and their children, Angela (Leslie), Dorotea (Tony), and Danny. Damiano also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Alexander, Matteo, Sabrina, and Sebastian, along with his siblings, Paolo, Raimondo, and Antonino. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – Hamilton Chapel. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
