Christina LES

Christina Les, in her 102nd year, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, at the age of 101. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Peter Les, son-in-law Stuart Gunn, sister Katie Glassco, nephew Joe Glassco, and niece Kay Glassco. Christina was the treasured mother to Patricia Gunn and Terri Les, and cherished grandmother to Geoffrey Gunn and Michael Gunn. She was also a beloved great grandmother to Carter, Mason, Hendrix, and Remy. Christina is survived by her nieces and nephews, including Jane Hills, Cathy Roberto, Nancy Donahue, Mary Jo Sinclair, Kathy Thomas, and Mark Les, and their families. Visitation will be held at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, located at 1774 King Street East, Hamilton, on Thursday, June 18, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church on Friday, June 19, at 11 am, followed by entombment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. The family extends their gratitude to the nurses and caregivers of Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Delmanor Glen Abbey, and Acclaim Health for their professional and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital or the Royal Botanical Gardens of Hamilton are appreciated.
