Brian Hood

Brian Hood passed away suddenly at home on March 18, 2026, at the age of 74, following a long battle with a heart condition. Born to parents Howard and Audrey Hood, Brian was the youngest of four children. He grew up in the Dundas area and was known from an early age for his strong work ethic. Over the years, he worked in various industries, always bringing dedication and determination to everything he did. Brian was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Verna (Don). He is survived by his wife, Cathy; his sons, Keefer (Melissa) and Ben (Cathy); his brother, Jack; and his sister, Gwen (Gord). He will also be dearly missed by his stepchildren, James (Jacklyn) and Tammy (Kevin), his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Out of respect for his wishes, cremation has already taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 11, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Lynden Legion.
