Aukje Staal (Annette)

Aukje (Annette) Staal passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 78, peacefully with family by her side. Born on November 12, 1947, in Aduard, the Netherlands, she was predeceased by her parents, Trientje Staal-Huizenga and Andries Staal, and sister, Greetje Staal. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings, Tineke Staal, Kees Staal, and Charlotte Tjaar, and by her children, Milena Dobric, Alexandra Dobric (Al Dosant), and David Dobric. She was a proud and adoring Oma to her grandchildren, Jonas Bagg and Stephen Bagg. Aukje will be deeply missed by all who knew her. As per her wishes, her family will gather for a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
