Antero Pereira

Antero Pereira of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 73. He is predeceased by his parents, Maria and Ernesto Couto Pereira, and his brother Emmanuel Pereira. Antero is survived by his beloved wife, Odete, and their children, Suzy (Jack), Steve (Michelle), and Noel. He is also remembered by his brother, Ernesto Pereira, and his brother-in-law, Conceicao (Norberto Galego). Visitation will take place on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel, located at 43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, followed by a graveside service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emmanuel House Hospice in Antero's memory.
