Alice Cynthia RAPCEWICZ

Alice Cynthia Rapcewicz passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on August 13, 1938, in Hamilton, Ontario, she grew up surrounded by a loving family. Alice worked as a hairdresser at Sylvia's Hair Salon, where she enjoyed interacting with customers and learning from her Auntie Sylvia. She was an avid gardener and had a deep affection for animals, including her beloved cat, Missy. Alice was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Josephine Rapcewicz. She is survived by her brother, Henry Rapcewicz, nephews Mark and Brian Rapcewicz, niece Michelle Biegler, and great-nephews and nieces Sophia, Graeme, Sonija, Owain Rapcewicz, and Atticus Biegler. The family is grateful for the care and compassion shown by the staff and physicians at St. Joseph's Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home on May 5, 2026, at 1 p.m., followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA in Alice's honor.
