ROBERTA BLANCHE HAZEL MARION GIBSON

Roberta Blanche Hazel Marion Gibson (nee Shaw) passed away on February 9, 2026, in her 95th year. She was the beloved wife of Harold Alexander for 74 years. Born in Midland, Ontario, on March 11, 1931, Roberta predeceased by her brothers Martin (Mary) and Jim Shaw (Vivian). She graduated from Teachers College in 1950 and began her teaching career in a one-room rural schoolhouse in Apto, Ontario. Roberta is survived by her children, the late Jane Manley (Tom), Tom (Marianne), Jim (Rosemary), Jill Gibson-Esposito (Fernando), and Tim (Kaori), as well as 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory to Andy's House, Hospice Muskoka, Port Carling, would be appreciated.
