Rita Gostick

The family of Rita Gostick of Midland, Ontario, announces her passing on October 13, 2026. Born on December 29, 1946, Rita is remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was predeceased by her parents, Gilbert Laurin and Martha Laurin; her brother George; and her nephew Jeff. Rita is survived by her husband, Tom Gostick; her son, Jim Hawke (Michele); her brother, Roger Laurin (Brenda); her nieces and nephews, Jody, Jason, Jeremy, Heather, and Tammy; as well as her friends, Linda Edwards, Patsy Shiner, and Lila Bates. Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Nicholls Funeral Home, located at 330 Midland Ave, Midland, ON L4R3K7. A funeral service took place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location, followed by a reception from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Heritage House - Reception Centre, also at 330 Midland Ave, Midland, ON L4R3K7. In memory of Rita, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association, which would be greatly appreciated by her loved ones.
