Mary Swanson

Mary Swanson, a resident of Midland, Ontario, passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on August 16, 1931, she was a beloved member of her family and community. Mary is survived by her devoted husband, Glenn Swanson, and her children: Linda, Wendy Martino (Nick), Scott (Kirsty), Kevin (Jamie), and Anne-Marie. She was also cherished by her grandchildren, Jessica, Evan, Alysha, Nicola, Meagan, and Jillian, as well as her great-grandchild, Rhys. Mary is remembered by her siblings, Myron (Ellen) and Anne (Rodney). A funeral Mass in her honor was held on August 31, 2026, at St. Margaret's Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Georgian Bay General Hospital in her memory.
