Lawrence Douglas Vaughan

Lawrence Douglas Vaughan of Midland, Ontario, passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on June 12, 1939, he is fondly remembered by family, friends, and colleagues who were touched by his life. Lawrence was predeceased by his parents, James Fredrick Brown and Marion Viola Vaughan. He is survived by his sister, Marilyn Vaughan (Maxted), and his stepsibling, Sylvina Brown (Thompson). A viewing was held on August 31, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Nicholls Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service on September 1, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. Lawrence was laid to rest on September 3, 2026, at Brampton Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Georgian Triangle Hospice (Campbell House) in Collingwood, Ontario.
