William Fitz

William Fitz of Markham, Ontario, was born on March 2, 1939, and died on August 14, 2026, at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his parents, Ena Johnston and William Fitz, and by his siblings Irene, Ronald and Francis. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Brown (Betty); his children, Ken (Karen) and Shelagh (Graham); his grandchildren, Anna, Shannon, Charlotte, Elena, Rory and Karl; and his brother, Robert. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 143 Main Street North, Markham, ON L3P1Y2. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Rotary Club of Leaside Charitable Foundation or to St Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Markham.
