Sonia Pearl Lamoureux

Sonia Pearl Lamoureux, of Markham, Ontario, passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on October 8, 1933, Sonia shared her life with family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Felix Lamoureux; her daughter, Linda (Rod); and her parents, Arthur and Pearl. Sonia is survived by her son, Mark (Carol); her grandchildren, Benn (Kate), Evan (Sarah), Kate, and Jake; and her great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Jack. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dixion-Garland Funeral Home, located at 166 Main Street N, Markham, ON L3P 1Y3. A funeral service will follow from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location, with a reception to be held at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Canada or Markham Stouffville Hospital, with links available through the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home website.
