Rita DiGennaro

Rita DiGennaro, a resident of Markham, Ontario, was born on May 29, 1933, and passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 93. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories for her friends and family, who will forever hold her in their hearts. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Markham Chapel, located at 10 Cachet Woods Ct, Markham, ON L6C3G1. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens, 33 Memory Gardens Ln, North York, ON M2H3K4, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada in memory of Mrs. DiGennaro.
