Rita Bellomo of Markham, Ontario, born on November 1, 1944, passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her husband Michele. Rita is survived by her sons, Anthony and his wife Stephanie, and Vincenzo, as well as her great grandchildren, Michael, Kaden, Beckham, Nicholas, Christian, Daniel, and Joseph. She is also survived by her siblings, Lorenzo and his wife Angela, and Lucia, in addition to many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held at the Highland Funeral Home - Markham Chapel on Friday, July 3rd, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at the same location on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by an entombment at Highland Memory Gardens from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
