Lona Lorea Richardson, born on June 23, 1944, passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 82. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Richardson, and their children: Greg (Janet), Dave (Stephanie), John, and Aleta (Greg). Lona was a proud grandmother to Emily, Ben, Jack, Katie (Connor), Mikenna, Griffin, Ivy, Jaxon, and Thomas, as well as Colton. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Thornhill United Church, located at 25 Elgin St, Markham, ON L3T1W5. A celebration of life will follow at 11:30 AM at the same venue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
