Giovanna Pizzo

Giovanna Pizzo, a resident of Markham, Ontario, passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on October 12, 1942, she was a beloved member of her family and community. Giovanna is survived by her husband, Stefano; her brother, Salvatore; her children, Ornella (Luciano), Paolo, and Cinzia (Dominic); her grandchildren, Guilia, Alec, Stefania, Rachel, and Angelica; her sisters-in-law, Rita Pizzo and Franca Musso; and her dear friend, Lina Colangelo. Visitation took place on September 1, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Markham Chapel. A funeral service was held on September 2, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by entombment at Highland Memory Gardens. A reception was also held at the funeral home on the same day.
