Georgina Suzetta (nee Reesor) PIKE

Georgina Suzetta Pike (nee Reesor) passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 97. Born on January 2, 1928, Suzie lived a long and beautiful life, many of those years with her beloved husband, Jack (John Lawrence Pike), until his passing in 1999. She was the only child of George and Nora Reesor (Bailey), both of whom predeceased her. Suzie leaves behind a large family legacy, including children, Gordon (predeceased), Susan (Richard Wannop), Brenda (Donald Hollands predeceased), Frederick (predeceased) (Beth Crichton), and Nora (Glen Phillips). She was also a loved mother figure to John Wade and Robert Ramer. Her grandchildren, Megan (Neil), Andrew, Alison (Mark), Samantha (Drew), Laura (Ryan), Dana (Matt), Darren, and Katherine (predeceased), and great-grandchildren, Mason, Hudson, Emerson, Lillian, Emily, Jack, Hannah, Violet, Zach, Iris, and Betty, will deeply miss her. Suzie's devotion to the community, including the Markham Fair and Locust Hill United Church, created many lifelong friendships and connections. She was a generous spirit who lived a long and beautiful life. Suzie is survived by her children and their families. Predeceased by her husband, Jack, and her son, Gordon, and her daughter, Katherine.
