Dr. Hans Walter Boehnke DC

Dr. Hans Walter Boehnke Jr., DC, DIBAK, passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2025, at the age of 81, surrounded by his loving family, at Markham-Stouffville Hospital after a brief critical illness. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Coral; his daughters Karen Peesker, PhD (Kevin) and Susan Boehnke, PhD (David Andrew, PhD); and his cherished grandchildren, Matthew and Alexandra Peesker, and Dekard and Keeler Andrew. He is also lovingly remembered by his stepchildren, Debbie and Richard Maynard; his sister-in-law, Helen; and his niece and nephew, Georgiana and Ritchie Boehnke. He was predeceased by his brother Richard, who passed away just three weeks earlier. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at Dixon Garland Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. A reception and lunch will be held immediately after the service. A private family burial will take place at Christ the King Cemetery.
