DENNIS LEROY SEELEY
Dennis Leroy Seeley, born September 11, 1946, passed away on March 28, 2026, at the age of 79, peacefully at home, surrounded by the family he loved so deeply. Dennis is now reunited with the love of his life, his first wife, Gerri (Mary) Seeley (née Cosburn), with whom he shared 46 years of marriage, building a life rooted in family, faith, and unwavering commitment. He is survived by his wife, Gail Seeley, with whom he shared eight years of marriage filled with love, companionship, camping trips, travel, and a shared commitment to Christian living. He was a proud and devoted father to Blair Seeley (Jenn Seeley) and Mary-Lynn Seeley (Richard Warr). Nothing brought Dennis more joy than his role as a grandfather. He was deeply proud of each of his grandchildren: Shelby Reesor (Thomas MacDonald), Shae-Lynn Seeley, Brian Seeley (Morgan Seeley), Laura Seeley, Hazel Seeley-Warr, Hamish Warr, and Teghan Warr. They were his legacy, his pride, and the continuation of everything he and Gerri built together. Dennis is also remembered by Aaron Michener (Lindsay), Jonathan Michener (Jenn), and enjoyed his time with Harrison, son of Aaron and Lindsay. He is also fondly remembered by Gail's extended family. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Mildred and Selby Seeley; his in-laws, Mary and Howard Cosburn; his brother, Jim Seeley; and his sister, Joanne Timmins (Bill Timmins). He was loved by his sister-in-law, Linda Seeley; and his brother-in-law, Mac Cosburn (Jennifer Cosburn). Dennis dedicated 38 years of service to the Toronto Police Service, beginning his career as a cadet at just 17 years old, leaving the small town of Dunadalk and headed to the big city of Toronto.
