David Beveridge HERRIOT

David Beveridge Herriot passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on October 1, 1929, in Tillicoultry, Scotland, he immigrated to Canada in 1953. David was married to Jessie Patricia Herriot for 42 years and had three children, Deborah Ann Herriot-Howes, Sara Lynne O'Donnell, and Charles David Herriot. He was also blessed with two son-in-laws, Mark O'Donnell and Phil Howes, and a daughter-in-law, Kay Herriot. David had four granddaughters, Jessie Deborah O'Donnell, Kelly Patricia O'Donnell, Lily Catherine O'Donnell, and Hillary Colina Herriot, and a great-granddaughter, Leah Rain Mistry. He was a graduate of the University of Toronto and valued education. David was fiercely loyal to his family and had a deep sense of integrity. He found companionship with Pamela Erskine after the passing of his wife. David enjoyed reading, music, and singing with family and friends, and was known for his love of hot tea. He is survived by his children, son-in-laws, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by his wife, Jessie Patricia Herriot. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Dixon-Garland Funeral Home.
