Carol Miriam Wideman

Carol Miriam Wideman passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on January 15, 1953, she was predeceased by her parents, Willis Wideman and Elmina Wideman (Cressman), and her siblings, Gordon (Hannah), John (Gwen), Elsie (John T. Reesor), Elva (John Dike), and Loreen (Homer Witmer), as well as her sisters-in-law, Mildred (David) and Margaret (John T.). She is survived by her sister Mary (Paul Schlichter), sisters-in-law Gwen (John) and Florence (John T.), and brothers David (Verna), Howard (Mary), Merle (Karen), and Willis (Kathy), in addition to many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on August 18, 2026, at the Wideman Mennonite Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association (Hamilton Branch - Baldwin House) or to Wideman Mennonite Church (Out of the Cold).
