Catherine McGregor Bain

Catherine McGregor Bain, also known as Rena, passed away peacefully at the McKenney Creek Hospice on July 15, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on April 5, 1931, in Polmont, Scotland, she was reunited with her loving husband Ron and her beloved son David. Rena is survived by her three nieces, Cath, Fiona, and Lorna, and their families, as well as many dear friends from Maple Ridge, Ontario, Edmonton, the Philippines, Maine, and Scotland. The family is grateful for the care provided by the Fraser Health Home Care Aides and the staff at McKenney Creek Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations to McKenney Creek Hospice in Rena's memory would be appreciated. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Garden Hill Funeral Home, located at 11765 224th Street, Maple Ridge, BC.
