William R. (Bill) Patten

William 'Bill' Patten passed away on June 22, 2026, at the age of 87, surrounded by his family at Strathroy General Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Eleanor, and their children Valerie, Lance, and William. Bill is also survived by his grandchildren Dustin, Ruby, Madilyn, Sydney, Makenna, Brett, and Noah, as well as his great-grandchildren Kirby and Ellis. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Ruby, and his step-father Albert. Born on August 30, 1938, in Port Burwell, Bill was a dedicated master electrician, construction manager, and land developer, earning respect for his knowledge and work ethic. He and Eleanor shared a life of adventure, traveling the world and building a career that took them to various locations, including London, Antigua, and Florida. Bill enjoyed playing golf with friends and was a standout junior hockey player in his youth. He will be remembered for his hard work, commitment to his family, and his passion for his career.
