William Frederick Berdan

William Frederick Berdan, born on August 11, 1933, passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 93. He was predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Elva May Berdan (McTaggert), and his beloved wife, Shirley Marie Berdan (Whitfield). William is survived by his children, Vicki (Berdan), Brad Pike, Ken, and Sheila Berdan (Purves), along with his grandchildren, Rebecca Cambridge, Amanda Cambridge, Alicia (Berdan), Scott Shaw, Kevin Berdan, Aaron, and Tessa Pike (Arbuckle). He also leaves behind great-grandchildren Tammy-Lynn (Cambridge), Steve DaSilva, Jeremy Cambridge-Goodenough, Madison Wright, Christopher Beckner, Leanna (Cornish), Hannah, Wyatt Shaw, Sebastian, Avin, and Jaxon Pike, as well as great-great-grandchildren Noah, Fiona DaSilva, and Nora Beckner. His brother, Jack Berdan, resides in New Brunswick. William is remembered fondly by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association Ontario Division, the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, or a charity of your choice.
