Werner Gallant

Werner Gallant of London, Ontario, passed away on October 18, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on October 4, 1947, he was a cherished member of his family and community. Werner was predeceased by his parents, George Gallant and Ingeborg Gallant; his former wife, Fern Gallant; and his brother-in-law, Mark Oakley. He is survived by his wife, Anne Oakley-Gallant; his brother, George Gallant (Peter); his children, Shirley Fischer (Bill), Barbra Tadgell (Ron), and Clarence Gallant (Tammy); and his stepdaughters, Brandee Bilik (Chris) and Mary Masri (Dan). Werner's legacy continues through his grandchildren, Brandon Fischer, Micheal Fischer, Ryan Tadgell, Jarod Tadgell, Alexandra Gallant, Erin Vanderydt (Cam), Cole Gallant, Corbin Robinson, Shea Robinson, James Masri, and Bethanee Masri, as well as his great-grandchildren, Asher and Jace Vanderydt. He is also survived by his siblings-in-law, Marie Reynolds (Jim), Bernadette Oakley, Nadine Humphrey (John), Angela Addison, and Louie Oakley (Karen), along with many nieces, nephews, friends, and his beloved pets, Rosie and Sobey. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the London Humane Society.
