WAYNE J. WHITE

Wayne J. White, BASc, PEng, MBA, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, at the age of 82, surrounded by love. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, and their two daughters, Alana White and Dr. Amy Young. Also surviving are son-in-law Glen Young, grandchildren Jamieson Powell, Nathan Young, Lucas Young, and Grace Young, brother Brian White, sister-in-law Gale White, and great-grandchildren Noah and Theo Powell. He was predeceased by his parents, Wilson and Dorothy White, twin brother Bill, and sister Brenda. Born in London, Ontario, on April 24, 1944, Wayne later moved to Vancouver, BC, and attended the University of British Columbia. After marrying Barbara, he worked in Trail, BC, and later earned his MBA at Western University in London, Ontario. He retired in 2016 and enjoyed spending time with his family, singing in choirs, and playing golf and curling. A celebration of life service will be held at the McEachnie Funeral Home on Saturday, June 27th, with visitation at 1 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mark's United Church, Youth Without Shelter, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
