Sandra Beryl DUFTY

Sandra Beryl Dufty passed away peacefully at her residence on July 6, 2026, at the age of 83. She was the beloved wife of the late Brent Dufty and is survived by her children, Shane Dufty and his wife Shirley, and Debra Sutherland and her husband Rob. Sandra was a cherished grandmother of Chase Dufty, Breanne Dufty and her husband Eric, Brendan Sutherland and his wife Nicole, and Jessica Sutherland, and a great-grandmother of Stevie Sutherland. She is also survived by her siblings, John Hall and his wife Pat, Barbara Whalls, Ken Hall, Linda Barnard and her husband Brian, Doug Perry and his wife Linda, and Laura Adcock. Sandra was predeceased by her siblings, Roger Hall, Russell Hall, Doris Wickwire, Lois Couse, Ned Hall, and Shirley Hinds, as well as her in-laws, Paula and Bill Haight, and Dale Dufty. Born on November 29, 1942, in St. Thomas, Sandra was the daughter of the late Boyce Hall and Eldena Bonner. A celebration of her life will be held at the Masonic Centre of Elgin on July 11, 2026, from 2-5 p.m., with words of remembrance spoken at 4 p.m. Cremation has taken place, and interment of ashes will be in Union United Church Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin. The family extends special thanks to Care Partners, VON, the doctors, nurses, and staff at Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre, and to Dr. Bolzon for their excellent care and compassion.
